AgriNous + Black Box Co
Turn saleyard data into better decisions. Bring purchase and sale data from AgriNous saleyards straight into Black Box Co's cattle analytics.
Unlock the detail in your data
Black Box Co is Australian-owned, cloud-based livestock analysis software for cattle producers, feedlots and buyers. It turns the data you already collect, from scales and handheld readers to feedlot and processor systems, into clear dashboards that help you optimise the value of your livestock.
✓ Induct purchases fast
Induct purchases in minutes: import saleyard data straight into Black Box Co with no manual entry or double handling.
✓ Individual EID data
Individual animal records: data is matched by EID, so every animal carries its own history from the day it's bought.
✓ See where the money is made
See where the money is made: Combine saleyard purchase and sale data with on-farm weights and treatments to compare margin by lot, supplier and breed.
✓ Record final sale readings
Close the loop at sale: record final sale readings to complete each animal's performance record.
✓ Know your performers
Find your best and worst performers: compare results by lot, supplier, breed and weight to sharpen future buying decisions.
How it works
Since January 2023, the AgriNous and Black Box Co teams have worked together so Black Box Co users can bring saleyard data straight into their account.
- Buy or sell cattle at a saleyard that uses AgriNous.
- Download the Black Box Co file from AgriNous, or ask your livestock agent or saleyard operator for it if you're not an AgriNous user.
- Import the file into Black Box Co to induct purchases or record final sale readings.
Our knowledge base walks you through each step. Questions? Contact support@agrinous.com.au or info@blackboxco.com.au.
The detail that matters most is margin. When saleyard data from AgriNous meets the on-farm data our clients already collect, Black Box Co shows them which lots, suppliers and breeds are making money, and which aren't.
